The Baby Room

Baby Room

The Baby and Sensory rooms care for children ranging from 3 months to 2 years. When the children are confident enough, then they make their transaction into the larger main roombut not until they are ready.

The Sleep Room

Sleeping Baby RoomWe have an open plan room which has a quiet sleeping area with cots and prams.

The children can also sleep outside, weather permitting.

Our main focus in both these rooms are the loving eye that all individuals unconditionally receive and to be able to play and sleep, knowing all entrusted care and diligence is watching over them.

Outside Baby Room

Our baby room has its own outdoor all-weather play area and garden which allows continuous indoor & outdoor access for all our younger ones.

We have recently completed a permanent canopy over the decked area from the baby room and we are always developing our garden area. And of couse with the help from the children!

Outside Baby Room

We also offer activities for our younger children such as messy play, gloop (corn flour and water to make slime) painting, treasure baskets and singing, as well as role play and quiet snugly areas.

Our Baby room staff are:

EmilyBaby room Leader
SallyEarly years practitioner
KellyEarly years practitioner/Safe guarding children Officer
Kerrie -Early years practitioner
RosieNursery assistant

We always work on a high ratio with the Manager & Day manager as Supernumerary and at least one student in on every day.
Ratio is 3 Children to 1 Adult

We have four main members of staff, who all hold recognised qualifications in childcare, and several part time staff who support the team. All staff attend regular training courses.

Most of the staff have been with us since we opened back in 2003, or have joined us as students and stayed on when qualifying. We are lucky not to have a high turnover in staff. Emily, Sal and Kelly are full time and are always here to talk to, if you need advice and support.
