Emma Marsh
Owner / Manager / Child Protection Officer/Equal Opportunities Officer
Emma designed and opened the nursery in 2003. Before that she worked as a manager at a local nursery and pre-school and has set up after school and holiday clubs. She has worked in Early Years for 27 years.
She lives opposite the nursery with her husband Paul who runs the family farm the nursery is situated on, with their three children George, Molly May and Harry who all attended the Strawberry Patch before starting school.
Emma holds a BA Hons in early childhood studies and a level 5 Management qualification, alongside various qualifications in childcare and management.
Rachel
Operations Manager
Rachel is our Operations Manager here at the Strawberry Patch and joined us from a background in corporate management, finance and human resources. She lives with her family in Sheringham and is based in the office here four days a week ensuring the smooth running of the nursery on a day to day basis. In her spare time she enjoys walking with her family, baking and exploring the Norfolk countryside.
Natalie
Baby Room Leader
Natalie has been with us since 2015 and has worked particularly in the baby room for the last few years. She has her level 3 early years qualification and is always keen to undertake professional courses to extend her skills and knowledge. In her spare time she enjoys taking part in zumba sessions and spending time with her partner.

Early Years Practitioner
I have been working at the Strawberry Patch since 2008 and have
worked throughout the nursery but have been based in the baby room for the last 5/6 years. I love the babies and really enjoy seeing them develop from babies to toddlers and watching and supporting them in taking these wobbly baby steps. When I am not working I love spending time with my family and walking the dogs. I really enjoy getting outside and enjoying all that nature has to offer. Jackie’s daughter Georgia often helps out in the nursery too.

I have been an early year’s practitioner for 8 years and have a little boy who is 3 and attends the Strawberry Patch in the pre-school room. I love working in the baby room and providing that nurturing and loving care to our littlest members of the Strawberry Patch family. It is so lovely to see their little personalities develop as they grow and see them become happy, confident toddlers. In my spare time I enjoy going for walks around where we live and having walks on the beach as a family with our dog Molly.

I have been working here at the Strawberry Patch for many years
and love working in the baby room. I love messy play and painting
with the little ones, making special artworks to go home. I am level3 qualified and have 2 children who I love to spend time with when I am not working. I enjoy keeping fit and making memories with my nearest and dearest when I am not at the Strawberry Patch.

I am a level 3 qualified practitioner who has worked here at the Strawberry Patch for the last 8 years with the exception of having
a couple of small breaks to have my babies. I love working in the baby room, supporting our youngest members of the Strawberry Patch family to grow, develop and start to prepare for the next steps. Outside of the nursery I love spending time with my two children playing on the beach or in the park in particular.

Early Years Practitioner
I am a level 3 qualified early years practitioner and have around 3 years experience. I really enjoying working with early years children and encouraging them to immerse themselves in their imagination and role play and to get creative and learn through lots of fun play and activities. I am also level 2 qualified in beauty therapy and enjoy doing beauty treatments on my day off. I enjoy listening to music and spending time with my family and friends when I am not at work

Transitional Room Leader
Kirsty joined us to work in the Transitional Room and has since progressed to be our Transitional Room Leader. Kirsty moved to us from another early years setting and came with over 7 years experience and a wealth of knowledge. Kirsty has a level 3 qualification in childcare, a safeguarding lead practitioner certificate as well as having completed a number of in house training courses. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and pets and going for long walks and canoeing.
Katie Morter
Transitional Room Deputy Room Leader
I am a level 3 qualified practitioner who works within the Transitional Room. I have worked in this room for a while and really enjoy helping and supporting the children gain more independence and learn essential life skills as they move between the baby room and main room. Outside of the nursery I enjoy walking in the countryside around my home, spending time with my family and our dog and baking lots of yummy treats.

I have supported all rooms but more recently the baby room and have now moved through to the Transitional Room to support the babies that have just transitioned. I really enjoy being an early years practitioner and watching the children grow and develop and forming bonds with them. I love doing arts and crafts with the children and taking them for walks. In my spare time I make the most of spending time with my friends and family and going for long walks with my partner. I will be supporting the transitional room staff and main room moving forwards.

Allana has been with us here at the Strawberry Patch for a few years now and has worked her way up to position of room leader taking great pride in creating brilliant activities for the children. She holds a level 3 early years qualification and has completed a number of in house training course. In her spare time she enjoys watching netflix and spending time with her kitten, Pumpkin.

Early Years Practitioner
I have worked at the Strawberry Patch for over 2 years and have
recently completed my level 3 qualification. I spent a year and a half working in the baby room and have recently joined the main room team. I really enjoy helping the children to grow and learn. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and spending time with my friends and family.

Early Years Practitioner
I joined the Strawberry Patch from another local setting to complete my level 3 qualification which I now have and I now work as part of the main room team. I love watching the children grow and learn and seeing their personalities evolve and develop. I enjoy messy crafts and play and encouraging the children to to be creative. In my spare time I enjoy shopping and spending time with my family and friends.

I have worked at the nursery for 18 months within the main room. I am working towards my level 3 childcare qualification as well
as working hard within the nursery. I love messy play and going on
walks with the children, particularly if it has been raining and we have lots of puddles to jump in! In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and watching films.

Pre-School Room Leader
Megan has been with us since 2017 and has embraced her role as room leader in the Pre-School room. She has her BA Hons degree in Childhood Studies along with being SENcO trained. In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym, catching up with friends and family and is looking to venture on to the property ladder.

I have worked at the nursery for around 7 years and helped to set up the Pre-School a few years ago. I have a degree in Early Childhood Studies along with Early Years Professional Status. I love working with early years children and supporting them to learn. I particularly enjoy helping the children to learn through creative activities, music and movement. At home I love spending time with my family, going on walks and being a mummy to Sophia who is in our transitional room.

I’m Carlie and this is my 4th year in the Pre- School Room at Strawberry Patch. I have a level 3 qualification in early years and a level 4 qualification in social care with children and families and have worked in either nurseries or schools since I left college. I really enjoy helping children learn, having fun with them and helping them get ready for their journey into big school! I have 2 children, Mia is 8 and Mollie is almost 5 and they are both at school. At the weekends we love exploring Norfolk and going on lovely walks (we moved up here a few years ago and living near the seaside is still a massive novelty for us!)

I am a level 6 qualified member of the Pre-School team. I have my BA Hons Degree in Early Years Education and have Early Years Professional Status. I love encouraging the children to learn through outdoor activities and to get outside and explore nature. I am very keen to support the Orchard Friends element of their learning. When I am not at the Strawberry Patch, I enjoy going out for woodland walks with my husband and daughter Emily (who attends the Strawberry Patch in our baby room) and getting out on our kayak.

I am a level 3 qualified early years practitioner with lots of experience of working within nursery settings. I have just relocated to Norfolk with my husband and we are busy decorating our new home. In my spare time I enjoy baking, up cycling furniture and I have started to get into gardening.
Carole
Nursery Cook.
Carole is our fantastic nursery cook who uses all local ingredients including home grown vegetables from our garden to make lovely meals for our Strawberry Patch children. Carole lives with her husband and has a grown up son, in her spare time she enjoys bird watching on the North Norfolk Coast.
