Emma Marsh

Owner / Manager / Child Protection Officer/Equal Opportunities Officer

Emma designed and opened the nursery in 2003. Before that she worked as a manager at a local nursery and pre-school and has set up after school and holiday clubs. She has worked in Early Years for 27 years.

She lives opposite the nursery with her husband Paul who runs the family farm the nursery is situated on, with their three children George, Molly May and Harry who all attended the Strawberry Patch before starting school.

Emma holds a BA Hons in early childhood studies and a level 5 Management qualification, alongside various qualifications in childcare and management.

Allana

Nursery Manager / Safeguarding Lead

I have worked at the Strawberry Patch since 2017 and have worked my way up to the Nursery Manager. I worked in the main room for 5 years as the room leader before starting my new position. I am very creative and take great pride in creating activities for the children to learn and explore. I hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification and have completed a number of in-house training courses including Safeguarding Lead and SENDco level 4.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family making memories and being creative especially pottery painting!

Jenna

Main Room Leader

I have worked at the nursery since 2018,starting off in the main room before joining the Pre-school room for a couple of years supporting transitions. I am pleased to have worked my way up to the position of room leader in the main room supporting the 2-3 year old’s. I am level 3 qualified and I completed this qualification while working in the nursery. I love messy play and going on walks with the children, particularly if it has been raining and we have lots of puddles to jump in!

In my spare time I enjoy watching new tv series, spending time with my family and reading

Early Years Practitioner

I am pleased to be re joining the nursery after previously working in the setting for 3 years. I first joined the nursery in 2018 after completing my level 3 in early years, I worked in both the baby room and the main room supporting the children. I left the nursery to try something new in 2021 and have since had a baby in June 2024. I will be starting back at the Strawberry Patch full time in September joining the main room. I am really looking forward to getting stuck back in and brining in lots of new activity ideas.

I love taking my son out for day trips with my family as well as cooking and trying new recipes.

Early Years Practitioner

I joined the Strawberry patch in June 2026. I previously worked in a forest schools nursery where I helped babies and pre school children.
Since joining the Strawberry patch I have supported the Pre school room but am now working full time in the main room. I have a real interest in the outdoor environment and I love taking the children on long walks to collect resources that we can use to create and explore with.

In my spare time i enjoy going on hikes, building and fixing cars with my partner and we are now renovating our first home.

Katelyn

I joined the nursery in March 2026 whilst also volunteering at a forest schools on a Tuesday in holt. I now work full time at the Strawberry patch supporting the main room team. I am currently completing my educational studies through an open university and am really enjoying gaining this experience with the early years ages. I particularly enjoy being outdoors with the children creating different activates using the natural resources.

In my spare time I enjoy reading a range of different books, baking and going on long walks.

Early Years Practitioner -

I am returning to the nursery after previously working here for 10 years. Before leaving to have a family of my own I was the Transition room leader, I hold level 3 qualification in early years.  I am pleased to be coming back joining the main room 3 days a week, where I will put my passion for early years into practice.

When I am not working I enjoy baking, crafting and making memories with my family and friends.

Baby Room Leader

I am a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner who loves working with children and encouraging them to immerse themselves and learn through fun activities and play, I have around 5 years experience and have recently been promoted to the role of baby room leader having deputised for the previous leader for quite a while.

In my spare time I enjoy doing beauty therapy sessions and am level 2 qualified in this area.

Early Years Practitioner

I joined the Strawberry Patch team in September 2022 after finishing my level 3 in childcare. I completed my placement hours in the baby room and I have worked in there full time ever since finishing collage. I love caring for the little babies and making their time in the room lots of fun. I also enjoy getting the babies involved in baking yummy treats to take home.

In my spare time I like taking part in dance classes and going to the gym, as well as spending time with my friends and family.

Early Years Practitioner

I joined the Strawberry Patch in 2021 having worked in an early years environment in a local primary school. I am level 3 qualified and have just completed my level 3 qualification whilst working and I have really enjoyed learning and developing my skills as a practitioner. I work in the baby room full time and I love supporting the babies with gaining  lots of different skills through their play.

I live with my son who attends one of the local primary school and in my spare time I really enjoy being with my son, family and friends. I also have the fun job of  learning more and more about dinosaurs with my dinosaur mad little boy!

Early Years Practitioner

I have been working at the Strawberry Patch since 2008 and have worked throughout the nursery but have been based in the baby room for the last 5/6 years. I love the babies and really enjoy seeing them develop from babies to toddlers and watching and supporting them in taking these wobbly baby steps.

When I am not working I love spending time with my family and walking the dogs. I really enjoy getting outside and enjoying all that nature has to offer.

Apprentice

I joined the Strawberry Patch after fishing school in July 2024. I am now going to be completing my level 3 in childcare while being an apprentice at the Strawberry Patch. I am looking forward to gaining experience with the children while also getting too see the day to day routines of working in a nursery. I have already learnt so much and cant wait to continue learning more. I have been supporting all of the rooms to gain experience with all ages of children. I will now be spending most of my time in the baby room supported by the baby room team. My mum use to work in the baby room many years ago so she will also be able to give me advice and support throughout my course.

In my spare time I enjoy going out with my family and friends.

Transition Room Leader

I joined the Strawberry Patch early in 2021 and I have worked in the transition room alongside Kirsty. With Kirsty starting her new role in the kitchen I am now the Room Leader of the Transition room. I have a degree in childhood studies and have completed lots of courses during my time in the nursery.

I love working in the transition room with our little ones and really enjoy song times and supporting the toddlers with their development. I also enjoy carrying out sensory times within the room letting the children explore their senses and further their learning .

When I am not at work I enjoy taking the dog for walks and spending time with friends and family.  I also really enjoy visiting different places around the UK with my partner and making memories.

Eleanor

Early Years Practitioner

I am pleased to be joining the Transitional room full time. Before moving house is April 2025 I worked as a room leader in a forest school setting. I hold a level 3 in early years and I am looking forward to getting back to working with children but this time in a different style of setting. I like to support the children in gaining new skills and encouraging independence.

In my spare time I enjoy baking with my partner (who attended the nursery when he was a child) as well as gardening and enjoying the sunshine.

Early Years Practitioner

I joined the Strawberry Patch in 2022 after completing my level 3 early years qualification. My mum previously worked here for many years too. I have supported all rooms during my time here but am now working in the main room full time. I really enjoy carrying out music and movement sessions with the children, we often create our own musical instruments to use too.

In my spare time I enjoy going for walks in the countryside, spending time with family and friends. I also love to play the piano and have recently started lessons again.

Pre-School Room Leader/SENDco

I  joined The Strawberry Patch in early 2022 as a practitioner in the main room. I am now the room leader in the Pre-School room. I  am the SENCo lead alongside Allana.

I have an Early Years foundation degree and have a passion for supporting the children with their development, helping them to learn and grow. I enjoy gardening, I am looking forward to helping the children grow and explore herbs and vegetables.

In my spare time I enjoy gardening, reading, puzzles and going for walks.

Apprentice

I joined the Strawberry Patch in November 2024 to start my level 3 apprenticeship in early years. Before joining the nursery I was an outdoor instructor at Kings wood activity center, I supported children from 6 and abouve teaching them a number of different skills, such as team building and problem solving. I am enjoying learning the day to day routines of the nursery as well as supporting the children with their learning and play. I will be mainly based in the main room but I will support all rooms from time to time to gain experience with different age groups.

In my spare time I love being outdoors exploring and climbing.

Early Years Practitioner

Myself, my partner and my little girl re located to Norfolk in April 25 from Darlington, this is also when I joined the Strawberry Patch team. I previously worked in a Pre-school setting before re locating and I have experience with other age groups too. I have my BA Hons Degree in Early Years Education and I am exited to be joining the Pre-School room full time supporting the children and team.

In my spare time I enjoy going on family days in and around Norfolk out and travelling.

Nursery Cook

I joined The Strawberry Patch in 2019 where I worked in the Transition room as room leader. I am now the nursery cook, I wanted to try something new but still wanted to be around children as that is where my passion is, I am really enjoying creating new meals and working with the children to create snacks and deserts.  I have a level 3 qualification in childcare and have completed lots of in house training. I love supporting the children in their learning and development and have a passion for creating new and exiting activities to use within the room.

In my spare time I enjoys spending time with my family and 2 bunny rabbits. I also enjoy paddle boarding in the summer months.

Hello my name is Sarah and I have worked at the strawberry patch for over 10 years. I help support Evie in the kitchen as well as helping the rooms with a number of different jobs. I enjoy going into all of the rooms saying hello to all of the boys and girls.

In my spare time I enjoy going out and making memories with my group as well as helping out in the about with friends cafe.
